How do I order form Fareastid.com?
Print out the order form, disclaimer and send it to us with payment and your picture.

How long does it take to receive an order?
Generally it takes about two weeks to process cash orders. Money orders take about three weeks depending on when payment clears.

If I send in an order today and pay for express shipping can you have it to me in a week?
If you select rush processing and express shipping, average turn around time is about a week. Please be advised that if you are paying with cashier's check or money order, we can not ship your order until payment clears our bank.

If I am sending in two orders together and I want express shipping, do I have to pay for rush shipping on both ids?
No, if you are mailing in the orders together you will only have to pay one express shipping fee if the ids are going to the same address.

If I am sending in two orders together and I want rush processing, do I have to pay for rush processing on both ids?
If you are sending in multiple orders and you would like to select rush processing, you only have to pay the rush processing for one id.

Does Fareastid offer discounts for multiple orders?
We do offer discounts for multiple orders, please mail all the orders in together in order to receive the discount. You can have the orders each mailed back to a separate address and still receive the discount.

1-2 Id Cards, the cost is $150.00 per id.
3-6 Id Cards, the cost is $120.00 per id.
7-9+ Id Cards, the cost is $100.00 per id.

 

    

What is the price?
Each NOVELTY ID card is $150.00 with discounts for multiple card orders.  This includes NOVELTY USA Id Cards, Canadian IDs and NOVELTY SS Cards. We do know that there are sites claiming to offer ids for sale for much less but there is an old adage that says, "you get what you pay for." The sad fact is that all of the sites we know of that offer products for less, do not deliver anything at all to you when you order.

What do your ID cards look like?
Legal reasons prevent us from discussing the details of our ids. Each id has been expertly designed by us. Please do not email us asking the details of each individual state, we are unable to answer these emails.

Do your ids have holograms?
It is against our policy to discuss the details of our ids. Most ids do offer some type of security feature such as hologram or UV marking. Please do not email us asking which id has what, it is impossible for us to answer the flood of emails asking these questions.

Can I send you a photo on a disk or CD, how about thru email?
NO. It is bad for customs and can lead to unnecessary inspections or delays of your order. In order to avoid confusion and to protect from viruses, DO NOT e-mail in your photos. We don't open attachments!!

How long do you keep my info and photo on file?
Your order form is destroyed one month after we ship your order. The photo is destroyed after we scan it. The only item we keep on file is the signed disclaimer. The disclaimers do not have your address on them and they are stored at a secure location far from our offices and our id production facility.

Why does the order page come up blank when I go there?
We have had reports that the order page will not display when people are using certain versions of Netscape. If you are having problems with the order page showing up blank, try viewing the site with Microsoft Internet Explorer.

How do I pay for my novelty ID card?
We accept cash or  money orders Payable To: "Golden Buddha". For your protection we suggest you send a money order instead of cash, this gives you a record of your payment to us. We can not be held responsible for cash orders that are lost in the mail, so please, use a money order.

What USA states do you supply novelty ids for?
We supply novelty ids for all 50 USA states and Canadian provinces. We also supply novelty SS Cards as well.

How will I know my order made it to you?
If you are worried about your Fareastid order getting lost in the mail, we suggest sending your order using a method which provides you with a tracking number. We receive very few reports of orders actually becoming lost, although we do get some orders which take an unusually long time to arrive. If you send using a method which gives you a tracking number, such as UPS or Fed-Ex Worldwide, you can track your package online. We do not really have a problem with receiving our mail, but some customers like the peace of mind in knowing exactly when their order arrives. Due to problems with our email server, we are no longer able to send order confirmation emails as we have done in the past. The server cancels all bulk emails, which is how we sent order confirmation emails, because it thinks they may be spam. We tried to correct the problem but we are unable to find a solution. We are sorry that we are unable to continue sending our order confirmation emails, but sending your order using a method which provides you with a tracking number will allow you to confirm that your order was received by us.

What is your best id?
It is against our policy to recommend any one id over another. We do not offer an id for sale until we feel that we have a quality product.

How will the charge show up on my credit card statement?
Please be advised that due to the high rate of fraud, and the nature of our business, we are no longer accepting credit card orders.

What type of picture should I send in?
The head of the picture should be at least 1" x 1". We have found that most people send in passport photos which you can obtain at Kinko's or any copy shop for about $5.00. Photos taken from photo booths work well too. Do not worry about the size or background color of the photo as we are able to alter both once we scan the picture into our system.     

How is my order shipped?
All items are shipped in plain white #10 envelopes. For security reasons, it will have no return address or other markings noting where it was originally mailed from. We mail all orders to a USA-based re-mailing service and the same day the package arrive, the orders are re-mailed via first class mail using the US Postal Service. Good news, the price includes the standard shipping. If you would like your order shipped in a rush, include an additional $25.00 for courier shipping.

Have you shipped my order yet?
Due to the many id cards we process everyday, you can imagine how many times we are asked this. It is unrealistic for us to continue researching the status of each order. We have people that mailed their order 5 days ago and they want us to look it up. It is a lot more involved in researching an order than you can imagine and due to that we are no longer able to check on the status of your order unless you have been waiting more than 30 days.

Are you affiliated with any law enforcement agency?
No, we are a small group of graphic design specialists who take great pride in creating the best available novelty and professional cards.

Do your ids say FarEastId.com on them like they do on the samples?
No, they do not. We only have our website on each sample to prevent other sites from using our samples.   

Do you magnetically encode your ID cards?
The encodeable magnetic strips are coded when needed. There is no extra charge for this service and you do not have to request it on the order form

Is this legal?
Yes, doing what we do is legal. What YOU do with your purchase defines legality. We don't advise any actions with these ID cards. They are conversational toys to be enjoyed for entertainment purposes! You are legally allowed to own a novelty id.

Thank you so much for my id, how can I thank you enough?
Please do not email us thanking us for your id when you receive it. We do appreciate your business and we are glad you are happy with the product but we ship a lot of cards each day and every day our email box is flooded with short messages say 'Received my card, looks good, thanks!' While this is a small message, and you wouldn't think it would take up much time, it takes up a lot of time when you receive a flood of them. It takes us too long to sort through them so we asked that instead of emailing us and thanking us, simply tell a friend about us. That is the best thanks you can give us.

What sort of guarantee do I get with the id?
If you find that we have made a mistake with your order, you have 5 days from receipt to exchange it for a new one. Remember, we are only as good as your order form is legible. Due to the personalization of our product and the production costs and time involved, we offer no refunds. If we genuinely mess up your order we will redo your order free of charge. This is only done after we have checked our records to insure it was our fault/error. If you mess up your order (EX. we misspell something etc...) If after checking our records we conclude that we could not read the information due to bad handwriting we will NOT redo the order. This is our policy and we stand firmly behind it. This is why we stress, you MUST write legibly.
